Can you wire a Qualified charitable contribution?
I understand a client can write a check to a charity from his IRA’s checkbook or ask the custodian to cut a check directly to a charity, but is there anything in the PPA that prohibits a client from wiring the funds from an IRA to a charity? Thanks.

I would think the Custodian could. All the IRA owner needs is written acknowledgement from the charity that they have received it.
