Is an In Service Distribution considered a Rollover?
If I do an In Service Distribution from a 401k plan to an IRA and a couple months later do a Rollover of the remaining amount in the 401k into that same IRA am I breaking the 1 year rule for IRA Rollovers?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

No. The once per 12-month rule applies to rollovers between IRAs. it does not apply to rollovers between IRAs and [url=http://retirementdictionary.com/Qualified-Retirement-Plan.htm%5Dqualified plans[/url]
