72T to Disability
I have a client that started 72T 3 years ago and will not be 59 1/2 for 7 more years. She just currently was awarded disability with Social Sec. Can she stop taking her 72T distributions and start withdrawals under disability.

The definitions are not the same, although close. Ask the custodian what proof they would need to code the distributions as a “3”, due to disabilty.
