IRA Management
I currently am managing my own IRA account through Fidelity, I have around 140,000 dollars, I’m 50 yrs old. Last year I made a 14% return on my IRA, using mostly aggressive mutual funds. I am now wondering if I should be doing this myself or have a professional do it.
Here is my asset allocation
Domestic Stocks
54.75% ($76,457.31)
Foreign Stock Value Foreign Stocks
38.29% ($53,469.71)
Bond Value Bonds
0.08% ($113.32)
Short Term Value Short-term
5.67% ($7,923.06)
Unknown Value Unknown
0.00% ($1.46)
Other Value Other
1.21% ($1,694.86)
Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, but this forum does not deal with investment allocation of IRAs or other accounts, rather is deals with the non investment aspects of retirement accounts including tax and legal issues.
However, you might first check with Fidelity to see what programs they have to assist you that might not cost you the usual 1% of your assets to manage the investments.
