Can I excersize stock options inside a Roth IRA?
A friend of mine is leaving his current employer this week and has a number of unexcersized stock options. Can he excersize these options inside either a Roth IRA or Traditional IRA?

No, because the options are not in a plan from which an eligible rollover distribution can be made in which the options could be rolled into the IRA.
