In service rollover
At what age can an active employee do a rollover of his existing 401K money. Can he continue to be an active 401k participant after the rollover?

It depends on the plan, but for most plans you must separate from service. For many others, you can roll the funds out at 59.5. There might be a very few that have more liberal options. Ask the plan administrator about the options including continuing to participate after any permitted rollover.
