Disaster Relief

The IRS has issued disaster relief in specific counties in Illinois, Georgia, Missouri, and Arkansas. In eachnotice, the IRS states “As a result, the IRS is postponing until May 27th [in some cases May 9th or May 19th] certain deadlines for taxpayers who reside or have a business in the disaster area. The postponement applies to return filing, tax payment and certain other time-sensitive acts otherwise due between March 18 and May 27.”

How do we know what constitutes “other time-sensitive acts”?
