Reading Posts and QCD
Until a few days ago I could readily determine which posts I had not read by the icon in front of the topic. I no longer can. Has anyone else had this problem? Or can anyone tell me what to do so that it does not appear that I have read all posts when I have not?
Additionally, any late news on Qualified Charitable Deductions being deductible from the MAGI for 2008?

With respect to the QCD, no progress at all from Congress. If they extend this and some of the others it will probably be done after the election. The list of expired provisions held in limbo grows each year, causing impossible planning decisions and costing the IRS and tax software companies millions in added operating expenses. Of course, all these expenses are eventually paid for by taxpayers. This performance makes Congress’ 9% approval rating rather generous.

On ICONs, exit completely out when done viewing (don’t leave site open). When you come back in later, any new ones should be there.
