Inheireted IRA
I have an Inheriting an IRA from my father. He was over 77 when he passed away, and therefore required to take the annual distributions. I work for the state of California and we have a Defined Benefit Plan “401a”. We have the option to purchase addition service years by rolling over a 401K, 457 etc. Do you know if I roll over some of the inherited IRA to a 401a?
Thank you

As a Non-Spouse beneficiary you do not have the option of a rollover to any other type of retirement plan. Your only options are to take at least the minimum distribution yearly or close the account.
