SAR SEP Compensation Definition
IN a company that has a SARSEP and an HSA via a deductible cafetaria plan I cannot determine the definition of compensation and the fund company will not help.
HSA contributions are deductible for both income taxes and social security taxes. So therefore the gross social security wages on the W-2 do not include HSA contributions.
Do I add these back to the social security wages to determine compensation for the 3% top heavy contribution ?
