The 15th edition of the IRA Answer Book (10/08) states in question 4:22 that QCD’s expired after 2006 and 2007. The current Slott IRA Advisor newsletter (11/09) suggests on page 4 that they are still available. Have the provisions that permit Qualified Charitable Distributions from IRA’s been extended to 2009?
