ROTH IRA Conversion-deferred taxes
Can a TIRA owner do two different conversions to the same ROTH in 2010 and claim one conversion in 2010 and the other conversion deferred over 2011 & 2012 tax years?
Thanks,
K

No, the same decision must be made for each taxpayer’s conversions, no matter how many separate conversions are done. However, a taxpayer’s spouse with retirement assets to convert could make a different decision for their respective conversions than the taxpayer.
