A/B Trust Beneficiary for POD account

Apologies for this subject not being the prime focus of this forum.

Bank refuses to allow A/B trust titling for online savings account (though it does for regular bank accounts).
If online savings account is titled then as JTWROS w/ POD A/B living trust as suggested by bank, are there any problems?
Will funds eventually end up in residuary B trust assuming survivor does not do anything unusual?

Is this same issue if life insurance policy (on one person) is titled w/ A/B Trust as beneficiary, insured is survivor,
and does not change beneficiaries. Will funds eventually end up in residuary B trust?
