Frank Dukes Letter ruling

Can any body share some knowledge on the Frank Dukes Letter ruling about certain type of IRA distributions? I don’t know anything about this strategy at all. Need Help and resources!

  • Here is an entire thread on this subject. It boils down to whether PLR 85 38062 and 2002 02078 are aberrations or not. Several taxpayers have taken the aggressive stance and did not run into IRS resistance. After you review this, post any questions that you might have.

While Frank Duke was the one who originally brought PLR 8538062 to my attention, as far as I know, he was not the taxpayer involved in the ruling.
