Decedent IRA
I have a client who inherited IRA from his father. The money is invested in 3 different accounts, can we aggregate the amount required and take from one account or does the min need to come from each account.

If client’s father was the original owner of all 3 IRA accounts, the RMD can be aggregated. But if the father first inherited one of them from his brother for example, the RMD would be different than the RMD for IRA the father owned. If the RMD divisor for the client is the same, the RMDs can be aggregated.
