Still in limbo. If the QCD is extended it most likely will happen in the lame duck session after the election. Elections always prempt completion of the taxpayer’s business. Passing changes retroactively is also extremely frustrating and expensive for the IRS as it affects computer programming, and taxpayer reporting instructions at inconvenient times.

What is the status of QCD for 2015?

Still no action by Congress yet. I’m thinking the December time frame and then possibly for both 2015 and 2016.Tom D.
