RMD for retiring employee

I have a 74 year old client who retired earlier this year. She is not an owner of the company and has been working up until her retirement date this year so she has not taken any RMD’s from her 401(k) plan. My question is that since she has retired this year, does she need to take the RMD by 12/31 and what divisor would she use? Her dob is 4/10/1940. Would she use 23.8?
Thanks for your help.

2014 will be her first RMD distribution year, with her required beginning date being 4/1/2015. The divisor for the 2014 RMD using the 12/31/2013 account balance will be 23.8. If she wants to roll over the 401k this month, the 2014 RMD cannot be included in the rollover, and if she rolls it over in 2015, both the 2014 and 2015  uncompleted RMDs must not be included in the rollover.
