Credit Shelter Trust
Present 401(k) to be used as MA state credit shelter trust. Trust beneficiary is surviving spouse age 78. Which table is used for future RMD – the Uniform Table or the Single Life Expectancy Table for Inherited IRAs ?

Single life expectancy table. If trust is qualified and spouse is sole trust beneficiary, the Table I divisor can be recalculated each year. Uniform table could be used if surviving spouse can roll the IRA over to their own name.
