You can also google 72tonthenet, the prime website dedicated to 72t plans. The site does not allow links to be posted. It includes a forum to ask questions and detailed information such as a RR 2002-62 which is the last major IRS ruling. There is also a good planning pointers section. One challenge is that many facets of these plans were interpreted through private letter rulings, since the IRS has not been issuing formal Regs regarding tax code interpretation. You also need to know that very few IRS examiners and few CPAs are really up to speed on 72t plans.
