would it make sense to put a roth ira in a variable annuity?

I have all of my 7 figure retirement account in a Roth IRA.
would it make sense to take a part of it and put it into a Variable Annuity with a guaranteed living withdrawal benefit and guaranteed death benefit? I am 65.

Usually, the fees associated with annuity fringe benefits supercede are more than the fringe benefits are worth, other than possibly an immediate annuity for someone with a longer than average life expectancy. The sub account expense ratios are no bargain either nor are the commissions being paid to company agents to sell these. But even then it is usually best to wait until the 70s to annuitize. Some that collected death benefits after the 2008 crash benefited, but reinsurers are charging far more now than they did then for the death benefit and those fees are now being passed through to the annuity owner.
