Titling IRA in Subtrust with separate trustee
When I (Jane Smith) pass away, my son (Don Smith) will become the beneficiary of the retirement sub trust, under the Smith Living Trust. My cousin, Alex Smith, will be the trustee. How would an IRA be titled?

“(Name of trust with or without name of trustee) as beneficiary of Jane Smith” or otherwise as the processing platform of the IRA custodian requires. IRS is not particular as long as both the trust and the decedent are listed.
