Traditional Rollover IRA – Charitable Giving Fund as contingent beneficiary

In a Traditional Rollover IRA, are there any tax benefits to the owner…and later to the 3 primary beneficiaries (my 3 children)…if I list my existing CGF as a contingent beneficiary, along with my grandchildren?

No. In addition, some IRA custodians may have a problem with a customized beneficiary designation. Certain wording and chain of events could also present a situation where if the CGF became an actual beneficiary and was not paid off in time, the stretch for the others would be sacrificed. If one child pre deceases you, where you do want that share to go?
