Is this an allowable rollover?

I am 50 years old.

If I take a withdrawal from my TIRA account and then put the money back into the same TIRA account within 60 days of the withdrawal, is this an allowable rollover?

In other words, can I use the money for say 45 days and then put it back and have this transaction qualify as a TIRA rollover?

Robert, you can as long as you do this only once in a consecutive 12 month period for ALL your IRA accounts. The 12 months is measured from the date of the distribution, not from the date of the rollover contribution.
