Coverdell ESA distribution
I can’t seem to find the answer….all help is greatly appreciated
Client lived in PA and has since moved to Florida where they have access to a tuition plan in FL where they can pay upfront. Would this distribution qualify as an educational expense?

Prepaid contributions to a qualified tuition program on behalf of the ESA beneficiary are considered qualified education expenses for ESA distributions per Pub 970.
