Historical IRA Deductibility Limits
Can anyone link to a table outlining the income restrictions for TIRA deductibility dating back to inception? This would be a nice resource but I cannot seem to find anything going back further than about 2002.
I have had no problem finding the historical contribution limits since 1986, but a complete list of the income limitations have proved difficult to find.
Thank you,
Robert

You may need to check Pub 590 older editions, but they only date back to 1994 and you need the info back to 1987. If you pull up the old 590 for every other year, the pub will have that year’s limits and the next year’s limits somewhere in the Pub. So that is about 10 different Pubs to get you back to 1994 figures: https://apps.irs.gov/app/picklist/list/priorFormPublication.html?value=590&criteria=formNumber&submitSearch=Find

Thanks. Wasn’t sure if there was a compilation handy – I’ll make one.
