How Do I report Canadian Old age security on a US tax return?

I have a client that receives Canadian old age security. How do you report this on a US tax return and do you have to?

I believe the Canadian old age security is reported the same as US social security income is except that is must be converted to US dollars before reporting.  Let’s see what others have to say.  Tom D.

Check out IRS Publication 915, page 6.  Does not mention conversion, but I believe it must be converted to US dollars to be reported on the US tax return.  Same goes for benefits from Germany.  Tom D.
