Spouse 15yrs younger
We have a client who’s spouse is 15yrs younger, I read that we can either follow the Joint life table or the uniform Life table for calculating RMDs, is this correct?

There is only one correct RMD amount. The joint life table applies if the spouse is more than 10 years younger AND the SOLE beneficiary of the IRA. The uniform table applies in all other cases.
