Best ways to get money out of an IRA – ROTH, other???

I was recently at an event and heard someone mention there are 6 ways to convert IRA to ROTH or other distributions on a tax favorable basis. Using charity or life insurance??? What are the best ways?
(I have clients with high IRA values and no need for the income…)

This article lists several options, many of which would not be available for a particular client or not beneficial for them.
