On Ed Slott’s DVD PBS presentation 2008 (I believe), he recommended to get some money out of IRA and purchase Life Insurance. I am now 75y and only have around $176k in my IRA account. Is his recommendation applicable to me? I bought a set of that PBS show, but somehow, I couldn’t find his paperback book and workbook. Are those still available? Unfortunately, I must have given them away when I was decluttering my bookcase. Are there any updated versions since it is now 2017. I have procrastinated that long and I hate that I did it.
