RMD’s

The way I understand it
– RMD’s from 401k’s have to be taken proportionately from each 401k
– RMD’s from IRA’s can be taken all or nothing from each IRA as long as the grand total is correct.

Do the RMD’s from Simple and SEP IRA’s work the same way as other IRA’s?

Correct. SEP and SIMPLE IRAs are in the same class as traditional IRAs, so all 3 IRA types can be aggregated in determining which account funds the RMD. Aggregation does not necessarily mean all or nothing, it can also be anything in between as long as the total is correct.
