Back-Door Roth IRA Contributions confirmed ok?

Per this article, it looks like there are no longer questions of if the IRS allows the non-deductible contribution to an IRA and then converting it immediately to a Roth IRA. Is this correct?

Yes, correct. This article basically reads identically with one authored by Natalie Choate a little earlier. In fact, they both used the term “blessed”. There really is no way to offer all the expanded portability of accounts passed in the last 15 years without leaving some loopholes that Congress would like to close but there is no practical or enforceable way to do so. Thus the back door Roth continues along with making much larger after tax 401k contributions and converting them.
