Roth IRA – contribution AND conversion?
I am 72 y.o. and contributed to ROTH IRA $ 6,500. for 2018 already. I am not sure if I also can convert some money from Traditional or Simple IRA during 2018? Is conversion not related to $ 6,500 contribution limit?
Thank you for clarifying my confusion.

Conversions are not related to your regular contributions and do not affect them.
