Foreign Tax credit
I know this is not about IRA’s, but somewhat related. I was looking at the new 2018 1040 tax form that just came out and noticed there is not a specific place I can see for the foreign tax credit for taxes withheld on foreign investments like stocks. Does anyone know if the foreign tax credit was changed in the tax bill passed late last year. If it is still allowed, where would it be put on the new tax form – it was on line 48 of last years 1040?
Thanks for any help.

Most of the lesser-used lines of the previous Form 1040 have been moved to Schedules 1 though 6 (Form 1040). Line 48 is now on Schedule 3 line 48.
