simple IRA
Hi:
Quick question. I have a client who has participated in a simple IRA plan through his employer for approx. 15 years. He would like to conduct a direct transfer of approx. 95% of his simple IRA balance to his traditional ira which i currently manage and still contribute to his simple IRA. Is this allowed? thx so much.

Yes, anytime after the 2 year waiting period from his first SIMPLE IRA contribution, he can transfer funds out.
