Qcd rules
Twice I’ve requested to know if any changes have been made to qcd payments. Especially if still a part of RMD; checks can still be sent to me as long as insurer makes check out to charity in numerical order with my personal payment being last check written. I can not find any response in discussion forum within last 2 weeks.
I am concerned if you did not receive.

You posted the question to the thread “charitable donations” originated by pemri about 3 days ago. You can find your post and my response there. There have been no changes to the rules. You do not have to be concerned with the number of the custodian’s check, as your IRA statement will show the dates of the QCD and all other distributions you took. Do you have IRA check writing authority or are all checks issued by the custodian?

Thanks. I figured there was a glitch. Up to now I have always received individual checks, but never a summary report. No, I do not have check writing permission, only custodian. It’s nice that not everything was taken away; I can’t help but feel there’s an ulterior motive behind this.
