SEP contribution for Schedule C and LLC
Taxpayer is a W-2 employee by day, contributing to a 401(k). On the side, he has a Schedule C for which he contributes to a SEP. The taxpayer is also a member of an LLC. The LLC does not have any pension plan. Can the taxpayer contribute to the SEP for the net self employment income attributed to him from the LLC?
I realize all of the contributions are further governed by the annual limitation of $55000.
Thanks for your insight.
