Contribution to **working** spouse’s Roth IRA account
I would like to know whether I can contribute to the Roth IRA account of my spouse who is working. If yes, how much: 100% of the contribution limit for the year (my spouse not contributing anything from her income) OR only as much as my spouse contributes from her earnings OR nothing at all as my spouse has her own earnings.
Thank you

You can contribute the full Roth contribution limit assuming that your joint modified AGI is not too high to make a Roth contribution unless the Box 1 W-2 income for the year for both of you is less than the contribution limit. This also assumes that no traditional IRA contribution was made for her. If the W-2 income is not high enough because either of you is self employed, please advise.
