inherited IRA to a non-spouse
Client has an inherited IRA her boyfriend left to her and her boyfriend was under the age of 73.
Inherited IRA to a non-spouse, do they have to take an RMD or can they just wait until the 10 years is up and take it in lump sum.

Is client more than 10 years younger than him? If so, the 10 year rule applies with no annual RMDs. But if not more than 10 years younger, client is an EDB who is subject to annual RMDs, but not the 10 year rule.
