Solo 401k Trust Plan Establishment Deadline 2024
I have a client who would like to establish a Trust Plan for 2024 and contribute $23,000 to a Solo 401k. We missed the April 15th 2025 deadline; Will the California Tax Relief for tax payers in Los Angeles County who were impacted by the recent wild fires allow a tax payer to Establish a Trust Plan until October 15 which is the extension date?
Can you please attach an IRS publication or article referencing this issue, if there is any.

You can google IRS Reg 301.7508-1. (c)(iii) of this Reg applies disaster deadline extensions for contributions to qualified retirement plans.
