Post-SECURE benes – no lifetime annuitization?
Pretty sure there is language in SECURE stating that IRA/QRP benes can’t even opt for lifetime annuitization anymore. Am I right?

Yes, that is correct, but if the owner had annuitized prior to 1/1/2020, the beneficiaries avoid the 10 year rule after owner passes.

Thx. What about EDB’s though? Can they still opt to annuitize? At least, the categories besides the minor children? Or are they only able to leverage the lifetime stretch? Not sure why Congress would care if an EDB stretched or annuitized, so long as the income was coming out at the proper rate.
