Yes. A SEP IRA can accept rollover contributions. It is best not to use up a 60 day rollover for this transfer due to the one rollover limitation over 12 months. This is done by the surviving spouse first electing to assume ownership of the inherited IRA, and then doing a direct trustee transfer to the SEP IRA. This does not waste a rollover and is non reportable on a 1099R or on surviving spouse’s tax return.
