IRA for someone on Social Security Disability
Can a person on disability with Social Security that is married, spouse works, make a deductible IRA contribution?
Thanks – Frank

Yes, the spouse’s earned income can be used to fund a spousal TIRA or Roth IRA contribution for the non working spouse. The TIRA deduction as well as a Roth contribution depends on total modified AGI not being too high.
