Does State Tax Apply for Roth Conversion
If a person sold their home in North Carolina on 10.15.20 and moved to Florida on 10.16.20 They subsequently performed a Roth conversion on 12.28.20 would they be responsible to pay NC state taxes? Thank you, Ed

In most states, as long as the FL residency was well documented (eg voter Reg, vehicle licensing, all mail forwarded to FL residence, etc, the conversion should not be reported on the former state part year return.
