Discretionary trust never terminates, or cannot possibly terminate during the life of any named beneficiary

Assume a see-through accumulating spendthrift trust in which the terms of the trust specify a monthly allowance to son “A” and all Son A’s issues living from time to time. The allowance amount is such that there is a high probability (due to a Reasonable return on investment) that this monthly allowance will continue for many generations.

Someplace I got the impression that a accumulating trust must have a named beneficiary that will receive the remainder of any funds in the trust at some time. . What happens if the trust never terminates, or cannot possibly terminate during the life of any person who is living at the participant’s death?

Ignore or disregard any problem with the rule against perpetuities which would not apply in this state.
