I know this is not an IRA benefit question but I am really not sure where to go on this one.

I have a client who is collecting on a deceased spouses SS benefit. She is marrying someone who has a Railroad pension.

Would my client qualify for spousal benefits off of her new spouse should he pass away while collecting her spousal benefit from Social Security.

Hopefully someone out there has more knowledge on this topic than myself. Any guidance is greatly appreciated.
