SEP IRA if filing married seperately
The person is filing married filing seperately. She has self employment income of 40K. SHe can not contribute to Roth or traditional because she lived together with her husband. However, is she eligible for SEP SIMPLE or SOLO 401K on self employment earnings?

Yes, under the usual contribution requirements for those plans, which do not vary by filing status.
