Missed SEP Contribution
My client forgot to contribute to their SEP for 2020. Can you file an amendment to go back and make the contribution? The return has been filed and they did not file for an extension.

2020 SEP IRA contributions were due by the tax filing deadline (4/15/21) postponed until 5/17/21 including extensions (10/15/21).
If no extension was filed by 5/17/21, no 2020 contribution is possible.
An amended return can’t change this.
