Inherited IRA switch to Spousal IRA
A spouse can first use an inherited IRA if needing money before turning 59.5 and then switch it to a spousal IRA to be treated as her own after she turns 59.5, correct? That wasn’t done away with under the Secure Act was it?

The spouse can still elect ownership at anytime. The Secure Act had no effect on spousal options or RMDs.
