This might have been a misc itemized deduction subject to 2% AGI floor prior to 2018, but the TCJA suspended these deductions until 2026. Even if these former deductions are restored at some point, they were limited to expenses used in the production of taxable income, which eliminates Roth IRAs, and even for TIRAs such income would be tax deferred until distributed, so such expenses were problematic even for TIRA generated income.
