Inherited Inherited IRA
If an individual Inherits a beneficiary IRA account. Can he/she consolidate those assets into an existing beneficiary IRA account? Mind you the existing beneficiary IRA account’s original owner was the same as the owner of the beneficiary IRA account.

These accounts can be combined if the original owner was the same AND if the RMD calculations are also the same. Usually, if an account moves from A to B to C (eg when a beneficiary account is inherited), the RMD calculations will almost always differ from an account that goes from A directly to C, which sounds like the situation with the existing beneficiary account.
